About these terms
These terms describe use of the PrivyMailbox website and any private-preview access expressly provided by the operator, PrivyMailbox, an independent project. Contact us at [email protected]. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information.
Browsing the site does not create a paid subscription. Any future commercial offer will identify the contracting operator and present its applicable terms before you subscribe. These terms do not remove rights or protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Private preview & pricing
Preview access is limited and arranged separately. Entering an invite code on the public site does not provide access. No code is currently accepted, and the site does not collect payment details or maintain a signup waiting list.
The displayed $15 USD monthly price is a planned launch price, not a current offer to purchase. Final allowances, taxes where applicable, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be disclosed before any paid subscription opens.
Acceptable use
Use PrivyMailbox only for lawful activities and accounts you are entitled to manage. You must not use it for spam, phishing, fraud, impersonation, credential theft, malware distribution, harassment or bypassing another service’s security or account restrictions.
You must not probe other users’ mail, interfere with service infrastructure or abuse sending and receiving facilities. Aliases do not grant permission to violate a vendor’s terms. We may restrict or suspend access where necessary to investigate abuse, protect the service or comply with applicable law.
Access & your responsibilities
The internal pilot has one owner. Keep owner credentials, per-alias app passwords and downloaded credentials files secure. Share tool credentials only with tools you trust. You are responsible for activities you authorize and for controlling access to your forwarding inbox and custom domains.
Connect only domains you control and forwarding addresses you can verify. Keep domain registration and mail records up to date. PrivyMailbox does not register domains or guarantee that a third-party website will accept an alias.
You retain your rights in your email content. You authorize us and the infrastructure providers needed to operate the service to receive, store, route, display and back up that content for the service’s operation, subject to the privacy policy.
Mail retention, archive & deletion
The hosted inbox retains live messages for 30 days, unless you delete them earlier. Archived aliases stop new mail and can be restored; their stored messages remain subject to normal retention.
Deleting an alias is permanent. Its address cannot be restored or reused. New receipt and logins are denied; active tool disconnection, physical mail removal and recovery protection finish in the background. Check the dashboard for pending work rather than assuming all cleanup has completed immediately.
Encrypted recovery backups expire within the seven-day recovery window. Minimal address reservations and message deletion records remain to prevent reuse or recovery of deleted content. Deletion does not remove copies already delivered to an external inbox or retained by a sender. Keep independent copies of mail you need beyond the live retention period.
Availability & limitations
The preview is still being developed. Features may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn. There is no preview uptime or delivery-time guarantee. Do not rely on it as your only channel for time-critical communications or as your only archive.
Forwarding and alias replies depend on external mail systems and provider policies. Delays, spam filtering and rejection can occur. Replies to existing correspondents are supported; the product does not provide unrestricted outbound campaigns.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the preview is provided as available without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes liability, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Future paid-service terms will address commercial responsibilities before any purchase.
Changes, ending access & contact
We may update these terms as the project develops and update the effective date. Material changes affecting existing pilot access will be communicated through the contact route available to us before taking effect where practicable. You may stop using the preview and contact us to discuss ending access and removing account data.
